Library personnel actively participated in the University Pre-Opening Activities held on June 18–19, 2026 at the Global Center, St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP). Guided by the theme, "Paulinian Education 6.0: Initiative, Growth, and Strategic Foresight," the two-day gathering brought together faculty and staff in preparation for the opening of Academic Year 2026-2027.

A key session on Direction Setting was delivered by Sr. Merceditas Ang, University President who outlined the University's strategic priorities and institutional directions for the academic year. She encouraged all employees to embrace innovation, collaboration, and

excellence as they work together in achieving the University's goals.

Another meaningful session, Employee Initiatives: Environmental Sustainability, was facilitated by Engr. Krivialuk Balauitan, highlighting sustainable workplace practices and the importance of environmental stewardship within the university community.

One of the program highlights was the Introduction of the St. Paul Community (SPC), which formally welcomed the members of the Paulinian community for the new academic year. The program also featured the introduction of new employees, recognition of continuing personnel, and the presentation of the University's administrative officers for AY 2026–2027, fostering a sense of unity and shared commitment to the University's mission and vision.

The session on the Happiness Index, conducted by the Guidance Office, emphasized the importance of employee well-being, positive workplace relationships, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance as essential elements of a productive and supportive work environment.

The pre-opening activities provided library personnel with valuable insights into the University's plans and priorities while reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and service. As the new academic year begins, the experience serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility of every Paulinian in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and compassionate service.
