The Library Director serves as the chief administrator of the institution’s library system, bringing visionary leadership, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to lifelong learning. The position oversees library operations, resource management, staff development, and the advancement of innovative programs that support education, research, and community engagement.
READERS' SERVICES
Provides direct assistance to library users, including reference support, research guidance, information literacy instruction, and help in locating and using library resources.
TECHNICAL SERVICES
Manages the organization of library materials through cataloging, classification, processing, and database maintenance to ensure resources are accessible and properly recorded.
ACQUISITION SERVICES
Responsible for selecting, ordering, and receiving books, journals, and other materials to support the institution’s academic and research needs.
Handles the borrowing and returning of library materials, user account management, renewals, reservations, and enforcement of library policies.
CIRCULATION SERVICES
Oversees the daily front-desk operations, assists walk-in users, manages general collections, and ensures smooth access to commonly used materials.
GENERAL CIRCULATION SERVICES
GRADUATE SCHOOL SERVICES
Provides specialized research support for graduate students and faculty, including thesis/dissertation assistance, advanced research consultations, and access to specialized resources.
MEDICINE/FICTION SERVICES
Maintains and supports access to medical and health-related collections as well as fiction materials for leisure reading, ensuring both academic and recreational needs are met.
SITE/PERIODICAL SERVICES
Manages journals, magazines, newspapers, and other serial publications, including subscriptions, archiving, and access to physical and digital periodicals.
