LIBRARY DLM REFRESHER TRAINING ON THE DESTINY FOLLETT DATABASE

The Library DLM Refresher Training on the Destiny Follett Database was conducted in February 2026 at the Knowledge and Information Resource Network (KIRN), with the participation of librarians and library staff from various institutions. The activity aimed to refresh and enhance participants' knowledge and technical competencies in using the Destiny Follett Library Management System (LMS), a widely used platform for library automation and resource management.

During the training, Mr. Raymon Bodino facilitated the discussion on the features and functionalities of the Destiny Follett Database. He provided comprehensive demonstrations of the system's core modules, including cataloging, circulation management, patron records, inventory procedures, report generation, database

maintenance, and system administration. He also introduced updates and best practices that promote efficient library operations, accurate bibliographic records, and effective management of library collections. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, participants gained practical experience in navigating the system and applying its various functions to their daily library operations.
