St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), through the Knowledge Information and Resource Network (KIRN) Library, successfully conducted Destiny a Library Manager (DLM) Refresher Training for faculty members and librarians on October 1, 2025.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in Destiny using the Library Manager, an integrated library management system. Designed as a refresher course, the activity focused on updating users on system features, best practices, and
recent enhancements to ensure efficient library operations and improved access to information resources.
During the session, participants were guided on key DLM functions such as catalog searching, circulation processes, resource management, and reporting tools. The training also provided an opportunity for faculty

and librarians to clarify concerns, share experiences, and explore ways to maximize the system’s capabilities in support of teaching, learning, and research.

The initiative reflects SPUP’s continued commitment to strengthening information literacy, promoting effective use of digital library technologies, and empowering its academic community with up-to-date knowledge and skills. By
investing in continuous professional development, the University ensures that its library services remain responsive to the evolving needs of students and educators.
Through activities like the DLM Refresher Training, the Knowledge and Information Resource Network Library reaffirm its vital role as a partner in academic excellence and lifelong learning at St. Paul University Philippines.
